Arslahane Camii

If you are visiting Ankara, one of the best places to visit is Arslahane Camii. This mosque was built in 1730 and it has a distinct Ottoman style. The interior of the mosque is decorated with Arabic calligraphy and there are also some arches that date back to Seljuk times. If you want to take pictures inside the mosque, be sure not to wear shoes or any other articles that could cause damage. There are always people praying here so please be respectful if you come during prayer time!

He is best remembered for being one of the most powerful men in Osman’s Empire and for his role in building mosques and schools throughout Anatolia. One such mosque is Cami Han which still stands today. If you are looking for a place to visit, Alaeddin Cammi is one of the best places in Ankara. Genclik Parki

Genclik Parki is a beautiful park in Ankara. It has many things to do such as playing basketball, soccer, and volleyball. There are also different walking tracks that you can take to explore the area around the park itself. The best time to go would be during summer because of all the fresh produce stands that sell fruits and vegetables grown locally in Turkey. You can also enjoy some of these snacks while laying out on one of their picnic tables or hammocks swinging under the trees!

It was built by Mehmed II in 1457 and is one of the most popular destinations for tourists who want to explore this land. The citadel has had many different names throughout its history including al-Fetih, Akkale and Kalehisar.

I am one of those people who loves to wander, explore every nook and cranny. My favorite is discovering a museum in the middle of nowhere. If you are like me then this post is for you! The Museum of Anatolian Civilization is located in Ankara, Turkey and it’s definitely worth checking out if you have time while visiting the city. There are over 20,000 exhibits on display which include archaeological artifacts from various periods throughout history such as Neolithic pottery pieces, Sumerian tablets and Hittite sculptures. I was really impressed by how many different exhibits they had for visitors to check out because I felt like I had been transported back in time when looking at all these beautiful pieces!

Temple of Augustus

A visit to the Temple of Augustus is a must when you’re in Ankara. The temple was built in 28 BC and dedicated by Octavian, later known as Caesar Augustus, who led Rome’s transformation from republic to empire. It is located on Cumhuriyet Avenue (Republic Street), near the Parliament building.
The temple has an awesome statue of Venus holding a scepter and apple, which are symbols for love and fertility respectively. Statues of Julius Caesar, Claudius, Livia Drusilla – wife of emperor Tiberius – can also be seen at the site along with other relics from different periods such as marble statues from Roman antiquity or pieces of pedestals that once held statues found during excavations about 20 years
